Ik wou jullie even wijzen op het volgende "aanplakbillet" bij de ingang van mijn flat.
Er is een of andere pipo die er achter kwam dat er een groot draadloos netwerk in onze flat was (bestaande uit 25 computers [da's best veel: er wonen "maar" 108 mensen in de flat]). Hij vertelde dat het allemaal open staat enzo blah blah, iedereen kan er bij, blah, dat vond hij raar dus meldde hij dat even blah blah.
Nu het leuke: hij heeft ook een screenshot van zijn Network Neighbourhood er bij geplaatst. Allemaal computertjes die allemaal gave dingen sharen. Ook was duidelijk te zien (het was geselecteerd), de volgende share: "porno op Casper". Nou Casper, sta jij even voor lul.
Waar kan ik joinen? Even een accesspoint kopen? |

Dan ben je ook niet echt slim, zeg maar.
Maar ja, als dat netwerk gewoon open staat hoef je alleen maar zo'n WiFi kaartje te kopen. Had je ook geen internet aansluiting te hoeven nemen! |

Grapjas, je kan niet zomaar internetten via een draadloos netwerk! Moet iemand wel optreden als een router, je mot wel een gateway hebben.
Maar ik zit er sterk aan te denken een accesspoint te kopen (uiteraard moet mijn hele "netwerk" aangesloten worden). Gewoon zo'n ding in mijn switch proppen en voila! Share heaven! |

| "slechts"25 computers? Is wel een draadloos netwerk, dat getuigd al van wat computer experience (als n00b zet je geen accespoint neer neem ik aan). 25/108 is bijna 25%. Dus is het relatief toch een groot netwerk. Volgens mij valt er wel wat te halen daar. Wie heeft er een draadloos iets te leen? Kan ik eens kijken. Hee Bjorn: jou laptop heeft toch WAN? |

Hij is WAN-uitbreidbaar. :-/
Dus het kaartje moet ik nog kopen, en dat wil ik uitstellen totdat ik weet of ik er in Ierland wat aan heb, en wat voor een kaartje ik dan nodig heb.
Ik vind 25 computers trouwens ook een aardig groot netwerk. Vreemd dat je er nu pas achter komt dat het bestaat. |
