Nou, het was weer barstens gezellig op de Bioborrul van het GBC, de Groninger Biologen Club, waar ik net van terug ben. Wat deed ik daar, zult u zich afvragen? Wel, de frequente bezoeker van DGE, of kennis/vriend van mij, weet dat ik een jaar Biologie heb gestudeerd en daar ook een paar vrienden aan heb overgehouden. Die wisten mij te vertellen dat er deze avond wederom een Bioborrul werd gehouden. Dat wilde ik, als oud-bioloog, natuurlijk niet missen. Daarom erheen getogen met Edwin, Martijn, Sjoerd en Marnix - terwijl wij (Martijn, Marnix en ik) ons wel voor hadden genomen niet te lang te blijven, omdat Martijn en ik om 9:00 weer moeten beginnnen. Marnix had om 11:00 zijn propedeuse uitreiking. Desondanks zijn we toch nog tot vier uur gebleven. Edwin en Sjoerd daarentegen zijn stug door blijven bikkelen, en bij mijn weten doen ze dat op het moment van typen nog steeds.
Reden voor het typen van dit stukje is, dat ik eigenlijk nog steeds in half beschonken toestand verkeer en ik niet echt bewust ben van wat ik doe. Als ik morgenochtend met een barstende hoofdpijn me hopelijk niet verslaap en me richting mijn tutorgroep sleep om 9:00, zal ik verwonderd zijn over de hoeveelheid onzin die ik hier op DGE gepost heb. Maar goed, om de één of andere reden vond ik het toch noemenswaardig.

Wij (Ik, Bjørn, Dagmar, Bruni, Dirk-Jan) zijn gister naar Den Haag gereden om daar te genieten van het toneelstuk Per Gynt, het was heel leuk. we kwamen vanochtend ook pas iets van 4:00 thuis, ik heb tot 12:00 geslapen. Toen kwamen Bjørn en Dagmar luidruchtig mijn kamer binnen gestormt, zogenaamd om sinasappelsap te komen halen.

Ik had van Martijn begrepen dat het thema van de Bioborrul iets met 'killers' of 'stoer' te maken had, dus ik dacht: Laat ik die zonnebril eens meenemen. Aangezien het een erg stoere zonnebril is, wordt iedereen die hem opzet ook meteen heel erg stoer. Heel veel mensen op de Bioborrul plukten dan ook even de zonnebril van Edwins hoofd om er de blits mee te maken. En zoals Edwin al aangaf maakte dat niet uit voor zijn eigen stoerheid - Edwin is van zichzelf immers al stoer genoeg!

Ik ben ook stoer genoeg... hetgeen natuurlijk samenhangt met de definitie van hoe stoer nou eigenlijk genoeg is.
Het toneelstuk Peer Gynt is hét meesterwerk van Henrik Ibsen. Het beschrijft de levensloop van Peer, in drie fases. Voor mensen die geïnteresseerd zijn in het verhaal verwijs ik door naar [1]. De volledige tekst is ook te downloaden [2]. Ik moet zeggen dat ik vond dat ze het heel erg goed speelden.
