| Ik baal nu even grondig: In al mijn enthousiasme om ook bestanden te kunnen sharen via het Selwerd netwerk had ik mijn Netwerk-id aangemaakt via Mijn Computer > rechtermuisknop > Eigenschappen... > tabblad Computernaam > Knop Netwerk-id. Het volgen van de wizard ging perfect, en ik rebootte vrolijk. Toen ik had gereboot en weer ingelogd was, bleken plotseling de admin rechten aan mijn account te ontnomen zijn op de een of andere manier - ik kon MSN en ICQ niet meer opstarten (ook niet met Uitvoeren als...), ik kon geen overzicht van de user accounts krijgen en programma's die ik naar de taakbalk wil minimaliseren zijn alleen weer te maximaliseren door ze te activeren via het taakbeheer. Weet iemand wat de reden van mijn problemen kunnen zijn, heeft iemand hier ervaring mee, en belangrijker nog: Kan iemand mij hiermee helpen en een oplossing aandragen? |

Aha! Dus daarom kwam je niet meer online na je reboot! Hmm, je kan in iedergeval inloggen met het "Administrator" account om de rechten weer terug te zetten. Hoe log je daarmee in? Nou, dat weet ik ook niet hoe je dat normaal doet... Ik heb dat geactveerd met TweakUI... (Zit bij de XP powertoys)
Niet meer kunnen maximaliseren?? Dat ziet er uit als een rare bug, en mijn oplossing zou zijn: format & reinstall!

Bij inloggen met de Administrator account kreeg ik hetzelfde probleem... ik kon er overigens ook inderdaad pas mee inloggen nadat ik even in het registry had gehackt*. Had je mijn mailtje niet gekregen trouwens? Ik kon niet meer mailen met Outlook Express dus heb ik maar met telnet een mailtje verstuurd. Maar dat is dan zeker mislukt.
Ik denk dat ik de oplossing reinstall ook ga uitvoeren.

Me is mijzelf altijd evengoed bevallen als XP... Ik krijg in XP al een blauw scherm zodra ik mplayer opstart.
En als je makkelijk als administrator in zou willen loggen, kun je in het login-scherm ook op ctrl+alt+del rammen en gewoon "Administrator" intoetsen. (dit werkt alleen als er nog niemand is ingelogd)

| Idd. Al is het onboard ding op mijn moederbord wel SB16PRO compatible. Volgens mij zijn al die VIA AC'97 wel SB16 compatible, maar dat moet je maar even nakijken. |

Er zijn bijna altijd wel dosdrivers te vinden in een klein hoekje op het net. De SB Live dos drivers hebben mij vroeger ook een geweldige dienst bewezen, terwijl ze nu vrijwel nergens meer te vinden zijn.
Voor dos spelletjes onder XP is er altijd nog NTVDM om het geluid goed te krijgen. Dat werkt met vrijwel alles behalve FT2. Als dos-spelletjes überhaupt niet op willen starten, dan is er inderdaad die PIII nog... En er zijn altijd nog wel 2e hands ouwe geluidskaartjes te koop.
Zelf heb ik nog een echte SB 2.0! Geen drivers, werkt perfect! Geweldig kaartje! Maar deze kaart ruist wel meer dan de radio wanneer je die afstemt op een frequentie waar geen signaal zit...

| Ja, wij hebben ook nog wel ergens een oude SB compatible of misschien zelfs gewoon een Creative. Maar dan zitten er 3 geluidskaarten in die PC... ik vraag me af of dat ooit wel goed kan gaan. Nu ja, op het moment toch niet nodig in ieder geval. |

In mijn router zit ook nog iets van een oude ISA SB compatible ding geloof ik...
Wil trouwens best wel hoor, 3 geluidskaarten in dat ding. 2 gaat ook prima (heb ik: onboard en een Live!) dus ik zie niet waarom 3 nou opeens problemen zal gaan geven. |
