Wat is hier misbruiken aan? Jantje uit slechts zijn frustraties op dge. Mag ik je eraan herinneren dat ook jij vroeg wie ons Jantje werkelijk was toen daar nog weinig duidelijkheid over is? Misbruiken van uitroeptekens is dat je met tientallen uitroeptekens iets probeert duidelijk te maken dat ook wel met één uitroepteken kan. Als berichtjes grotendeels in hoofdletters worden geschreven vind ik het heel erg vervelend om te moeten lezen.
Dat Scylla een hekel heeft aan wiskunde is voor hem jammer, maar kan mij niet zoveel schelen. Het is voor jezelf plezieriger wanneer je het toch moet doen, je het leuk vind.

Eén uitroepteken is slechts een standaard uitroep.
Twee betekent niks.
Drie is een uitroep met nadruk.
Vier of vijf is een uitroep met ergenis als bron.
Meer = verkeerd
Deze verschillende uitroepen kunnen niet samen worden gevat met één uitroepteken.

Op zich heb je gelijk, maar vindt moet met dt.
Tot op dit moment heb ik met dit bericht nog niks gezegd. Wat ik wel wil zeggen volgt dus nog:
Kappen met dat gezeik! Iedereen kan voor zichzelf kiezen of ze een bericht willen lezen of niet. Als je je ergert aan een bericht en je reageert erop, dan is dat per definitie gezeik, net als dit bericht. En het ergste is dat er dan NOG meer gezeik op volgt, waar dit bericht ook weer een voorbeeld van is. En dat is helemaal nergens voor nodig!
Vroeger was het altijd leuk en gezellig en werd er ook wel wat afgezeken, maar toen was het anders. We moeten het gewoon weer gezellig maken! Dus ik herhaal: Kappen met Gezeik! Dan kunnen we nog lang en gelukkig leven!

Sascha, er zijn verscheidene mogelijkheden voorbijgegaan waarin ik je spel- en taalfouten kon verbeteren en dat niet deed. (In je berichtje zie ik in een oogopslag ook al een paar fouten.) Ik deed dat niet omdat ik zelf ook wel eens een spelfout maak. Misschien moet je dat standpunt eens overnemen. Het kan ook zijn dat het je bedoeling was om te laten zien dat zeiken vervelend is, maar aangezien ik je vaker spelfouten heb zien verbeteren ga ik daar niet vanuit.
Je somt een aantal dingen onder andere uit mijn berichtje op.
- Ten eerste reageer je op wat ik versta onder het misbruiken van uitroeptekens. Zoals jij de aantallen uitroeptekens definieert heb ik het niet geleerd op de basisschool. Het lijkt wel alsof alles altijd groter en meer moet. In de krant hebben ze toch ook geen vijf uitroeptekens nodig? (Dit is geen argument maar een illustratie.) Bovendien gebruikte Scylla in een zin 30 uitroeptekens achter elkaar. Overdaad schaadt.
- Ten tweede zeg je dat ik de berichtjes niet hoef te lezen. Ik kan ze ook moeilijk negeren. De titels staan gewoon tussen de andere titels, en in de reacties wordt ook verwezen naar het berichtje in kwestie. Het lijkt erop dat je ervoor pleit dat iedereen mag beslissen welke berichtjes hij wel en niet te zien krijgt. Wat heb je gestemd in de poll hierover?
- Ten derde zeg je nog een keer dat ik de berichtjes niet hoef te lezen. De zin was niet bedoeld om aan te geven dat het voor mij geen informatiewaarde had, maar simpelweg om te vertellen dat het mij niet zoveel kan schelen. Iedereen schrijft dingen die voor anderen geen informatiewaarde hebben.
Ik wil even duidelijk maken dat ik Scylla niet aanval, maar probeer uit te leggen dat ik het niet prettig vind om zulke berichtjes te lezen. En ook waarom. Het is niet zo dat ik Scylla wil dwingen om zijn manier van schrijven aan te passen, maar hij mag toch op zijn minst weten dat ik en een hoop andere mensen het niet prettig vinden. Deze ongeschreven regels zijn er tenslotte niet voor niets. |

Ik wil me best aanpassen, maar dat zou wel tegen mijn dichterlijke principes ingaan. Iedereen heeft zijn eigen stijl en ik wil de mijne graag behouden. Zoals grote schrijvers de altijd veranderende spellingregels aan hun laars lappen wilde ik dit hierbij in dit geval ook doen. Oei oei pijnlijk! Het lijkt erop dat je ervoor pleit... Deze opmerking wordt je niet in dank afgenomen. Inmiddels is het wel vrij duidelijk (oa door dit berichje) dat ik voor het tegenovergestelde pleit! Jouw conclusie is dan ook niet minder dan helemaal fout! Ik zei namelijk niet dat je er zelf voor moet kunnen kiezen of bepaalde berichten wel of niet op het scherm afgebeeldt worden, maar dat je voor jezelf moet kunnen kiezen of je bepaalde berichten wel of niet leest. En dat kan al. Als de titel niet bevalt, hoef je er verder niet op in te gaan. Hoewel nu inmiddels duidelijk is, dant juist de titel het probleem is, is mijn boodschap overbodig. Maar toch stel ik op prijs als er geen verkeerde ideen over mijn standpunten de gouden emmer ingeworpen worden.
Enneuh... Jantje.... Ik geef je groot gelijk! Als jij je eigen stijl wilt behouden, dan moet je dat zeker doen! Maar het zou wel prettig zijn, als je je iets minder in 'dichtvorm' uit. |

Latijn was een van de weinige dingen die ik nog wel redelijk kon. Dat is echter ook beresnel weggezakt. Wat kennis van Latijn bleek wel handig bij wat medische termen trouwens. Dan kun je nog 's wat herleiden. Wat betreft je Latijnse spreuk: Ik zou het echt niet weten. Ik zou zelf voor de laatste gaan, de verleden tijd vorm. Als je immers geluk hebt gehad. Tenzij je nog steeds gelukt hebt natuurlijk. Was Fortuna trouwens ook niet een godin? Of zo'n personificatie van geluk. Van dat vage gedoe enzo. |

Nou ik heb nog steeds geluk en had het toen ook... maar of daar ook een vorm voor is... een soort algemene continue vorm van het werkwoord "geluk hebben". En Fortuna was ook een godin ja! |
