| Ik heb het gelezen en ik vind het bijzonder zwak van Rob Oudkerk. Als Pim Fortuyn dit gezegd had denk ik ook dat de media hem met de grond gelijk had gemaakt. (Maar ik denk niet dat het hem heel veel zetels gekost had.) Naar mijn mening past dit ook totaal niet bij de PVDA. Ik kan me niet vinden in de denkbeelden van de PVDA, maar dit is niet het beeld wat ik van ze heb. |

| Maar het zijn kut-Marokkanen, die waar hij het over had dan. Ergens bots onze cultuur met de Marokkaanse cultuur, hetgeen bij een klein deel van de groep Marokkanen wangedrag veroorzaakt. Vernielingen, beroof, intimidatie, noem maar op. Deze zaken moeten hard aangepakt worden. Maar we moeten ons bewust blijven van het feit dat het gaat om een kleine groep Marokkaanse jongeren, en dat ze niet allemaal zo zijn. |

Je mag juist heel veel, alleen heb je in de politiek ook gedeeltelijk verantwoordelijkheid over deze jongeren. Als ze verkeerd bezig zijn, moet je ze 'helpen', ook wanneer dat onmogelijk lijkt. Als je het jouw eigen functie hebt gemaakt om het land te besturen, dan doe je dat voor iedereen, inclusief probleemjongeren, en mag je ze dus niet uitschelden.
In theorie is het mogelijk dat je iemand helpt door hem uit te schelden. Maar dan is het weer je verantwoording naar het volk toe, die problemen geeft; niet iedereen zal meteen inzien dat je mensen helpt door ze uit te schelden. Hier ziet iedereen dan ook het tegenovergestelde. En daar ligt het probleem. Dat het eventueel discriminatie is, is, in mijn ogen, lang zo erg niet. |

Dus... je mag het niet over een cultuur hebben maar wel over de mensen zelf?
Klinkt een beetje tegenstrijdig... Deze Marrokanen zijn misschien niet representatief voor de allemaal over de hele wereld, maar als mensen zichzelf zijn in een bepaalde cultuur, en die is in ogen van wie dan ook ''achterlijk'', zijn dan de mensen hardstikke normaal of is dat dan ook rascisme? Volgens mij het laatste... (maar ik ben niet zo helder meer :) |

Uhm... Hij beperkt zich niet tot DEZE groep die overlast veroorzaakt; er zijn namelijk wel meer zwarte schapen in de kudde.
Enneuh... Als een cultuur zwaar kut is, dan zijn de mensen die in die cultuur leven plotseling engeltjes? Vergeef me de zonde, maar ik ben niet in staat om mensen en cultuur los van elkaar te zien. Als je een bepaalde cultuur een scheldwoord toekent, dan heb je het over de mensen; aangezien de cultuur uit deze mensen bestaat.
Maar... Volgens mij missen we het belangrijke punt hier. We zitten nu zo goed te kijken wat Oudkerk misschien wel bedoeld zou hebben en in hoeverre zijn uitspraak goed te praten is en in hoeverre juist af te kraken... Maar het gaat erom dat hij nooit zo'n woord in zijn mond had mogen nemen! Ookal gaat het om een kleine groep die problemen veroorzaakt, zulke dingen zeg je niet! En als politicus al helemaal niet! |

Niet helemaal mee eens...
"Een cultuur bestaat uit ideeen, gedachtengoeden en tradities."
Neenee, een cultuur bestaat uit mensen die leven naar deze ideeën, gedachtengoeden en tradities. Als er geen mensen (geweest) zijn om deze tradities enzo uit te voeren, dan kun je het niet over een cultuur hebben.
En iedereen weet wel wat stenigen is hoor, hetzij door ao, hetzij door Monty Python. |

Het onderwerp dwaalt verder af naar de definitie van 'cultuur'... Waar het om gaat, is, inderdaad, dat die mensen volgens hun cultuur leven. Je kunt niet hun cultuur bekritiseren/afkraken/uitschelden zonder het daarmee over de mensen zelf te hebben. Misschien vind jij dat het wel kan, maar de praktijk is toch echt anders!
We zijn op dit onderwerp gekomen via een groep Marrokanen. Die zijn in Nederland gekomen. Dat is dus niet thuis. Er zijn hier maar weinig mensen die leven volgens hun cultuur. Zij kunnen niet per direct leven volgens de onze. Het enige wat je dan kunt doen, is vasthouden aan alles wat je weet (eigen cultuur) en van daaruit jezelf proberen aan te passen aan de mensen om je heen. Omdat ze bijna helemaal alleen zijn, in Nederland, houden ze extra goed vast aan hun cultuur; das het enige wat ze nog hebben. Als jij dan die cultuur gaat bekritiseren, valt dat ook niet goed. Deze mensen voelen zich dan natuurlijk ook aangesproken!
Wat ik hiermee, nogmaals, wil zeggen, is dat je cultuur en mensen niet los van elkaar kunt zien en dat je als mens zijnde dus een beetje op moet passen met wat je zegt. |

| Eh Sascha, in Amsterdam en Rotterdam zijn ze niet `bijna helemaal alleen'. Ik vind het belachelijk dat er zoveel ophef over ontstaat. Als politicus had Oudkerk het nooit mogen zeggen omdat hij een bepaalde voorbeeldpositie heeft. (Leidt tot haat e.d..) Maar aangezien Oudkerk dacht dat de camera uitstond, vind ik het onzin dat mensen er zo over zeuren. Een feit is dat er onder de groep Marokkanen zich ook een groep kut-Marokkanen bevindt. Als iemand dan een aanklacht indient omdat hij zich beledigt voelt, dan voelt die persoon zich waarschijnlijk aangesproken. Ik denk dus dat dat een van die kut-Marokkanen is waar Oudkerk het over had. |

Drie opmerkingen:
Als ik het over rotjongens heb, bedoel ik daarmee niet alle jongens maar de groep jongens die rot zijn. Zo vind ik dat je kut-Marokkanen moet lezen als "de groep Marokkanen die kut zijn".
Dat in een andere cultuur in een ander land bepaalde onrechtvaardige straffen gelden is verschrikkelijk, maar het is hun eigen zaak. We kunnen hulp bieden naar aanleiding van onze opvattingen, maar we moeten ze geen regeltjes gaan opleggen.
Een cultuur is nooit achterlijk in z'n geheel maar kan dat wel op bepaalde punten zijn, en dat heeft Pim natuurlijk ook bedoeld. |
