Daarnet rond 5:00, nadat een deel van onze gasten terug waren gekomen uit Zevenhuizen, begon de haan te kraaien. Spontaan klimt iedereen in bed, want slapen als het licht is wil meestal niet zo lekker. Een uitzondering is echter Laurens, die spontaan uit z'n bed komt na lekker 4 à 5 uurtjes geslapen te hebben! Een tweede uitzondering is Edwin, die ergens achter een struik is gevonden en zelf z'n eigen kleren niet meer uit kon trekken. Edwin sliep gewoon door de haan heen.
Ik ga nu ook maar eens slapen, morgenochtend moet er een ontbijt worden geregeld voor welgeteld 14 man. Ik zet m'n alarm op 11:00, eens kijken hoeveel mensen dan al wakker zijn... |

Je mag het best weten. Of je het ook wíl weten, is een tweede.
Met Laurens hoefde ik niet zoveel te doen, alleen even een paar keer controleren of hij niet hoefde over te geven. Edwin had wat meer zorg nodig. Hij had duidelijk teveel op, en zijn lichaam gaf ook al aan dat het de alcohol kwijtmoest. Dus heb ik hem even geholpen zijn maag te ledigen in een emmer, door de emmer (nee, niet van goud) vast te houden en hem te coachen. Hierna stelde ik een controle van om het kwartier in, zodat we konden vaststellen of Edwin niet last van asfyxie zou krijgen door zijn eigen braaksel. Dit bleek een goed plan te zijn, want al bij de tweede controle bevond zich een aanzienlijke hoeveelheid braaksel op zijn kussen en laken en in zijn mond, dat verwijderd diende te worden. Tijdens de verschoning moest hij even bij bewustzijn worden gehouden om het gevaar van asfyxie zo klein mogelijk te houden. Na verschoning van voornoemde zaken was zijn maag voldoende geledigd, en wilde hij verder slapen. Dit ging verder wel goed, hij hoefde niet meer over te geven bij volgende controles.
Voor het geval je nog geïnteresseerd bent in nog meer details: Het braaksel was voornamelijk donker van kleur (door de dropshot), en ja, er zaten wel wat stukjes in. Chips ofzo, dat weet ik niet. |

| Hmmm, ik weet er eigenlijk niet zo veel meer van. Het was echt heel erg raar. Ik was gewoon aan het feestvieren en opeens liep ik in een bos terwijl ik me probeerde vast te houden aan allerlei struiken en stammen. Ik kan me dus niet herinneren dat ik het bos ben ingelopen en wat ik daarvoor heb gedaan op het feest. De herinneringen die ik heb aan mijn boswandeling zijn trouwens ook behoorlijk vaag. Ik moet dus ergens gevallen zijn maar daar weet ik niks meer van. Ik heb trouwens een ook flinke wond op mijn hoofd dus ik zal ook wel tegen een boom ofzo opgeknald zijn. Het volgende dat ik me herinner is de stem van Ramon (ik had mijn ogen dicht denk ik want ik kan me alleen die stem herinneren) die zei dat ik maar even over moest geven in de emmer. Toen lag ik volgens mij al in een bed. En hij zei volgens mij ook dat het wel goed zou komen maar dat weet ik niet meer zeker. Het klonk in ieder geval wel vertrouwd. Daarna werd ik wakker en dacht ik eerst dat ik gedroomd had van een wandeling in een bos. Toen besefte ik dat dit echt gebeurd was! Nou, al met al weet ik er weinig meer van en dat is volgens mij ook maar beter zo! Maar tot het punt waarop ik het bos ben ingelopen heb ik me trouwens prima vermaakt! Volgend jaar weer.... Hopelijk kom jij dan ook weer Ramon! |

Je lag inderdaad al in bed toen, Edwin. Eigenlijk heb ik niet gezegd dat het wel goed zou komen. Tijdens EHBO leer je namelijk dat je nooit moet zeggen dat het wel goed zal komen, omdat je niet weet of dat waar zal blijken te zijn. Je geeft het slachtoffer dan alleen maar valse hoop. Uiteraard hoopte ik wel ten zeerste dat alles goed met je zou komen. In ieder geval heb ik samen met de ouders van Bjørn geprobeerd je zo goed mogelijk te verzorgen.
