Ik ben inmiddels thuis gekomen, na een tocht van een uur door de regen, en zit nu in m'n onderbroek nog even een verslag te doen op DGE...
Het begin
Het begon allemaal met Martin, die graag uit wou met de Rodernacht, een feestnacht in Roden waar het dan hartstikke druk is, en waar het dan ook gezellig zou moeten zijn. Edwin en ik wouden alleen liever niet maandag (want dan is de Rodernacht) tot laat uit, en zo kwam het dat uiteindelijk Martin, Edwin, Laurens en ik vanavond weer eens samen naar Roden uit gingen (Georg was er jammer genoeg niet bij wegens niet zo lekker voelen).
De heenweg was voor mij hart trappen, want zoals gewoonlijk ging ik te laat van huis weg. Edwin en Laurens hadden er deze keer voor gekozen alvast weg te gaan dus ik moest ze nog harder achterna om ze in te halen. Dat heb ik ook gedaan, maar uiteindelijk liepen we samen naar de Lanteern, waar we om 0:00 uur hadden afgesproken met Martin. Diezelfde Martin kwam alleen 10 minuten te laat aanwandelen, wegens problemen met het wegzetten van z'n fiets (zo smoesde hij).
De Lanteern
Nadat we een tijdje met elkaar hadden geprobeerd te praten merkten we al gauw dat we elkaar eigenlijk helemaal niet konden verstaan. Dit werd veroorzaakt door een bandje dat het hele cafe eens lekker wou opvrolijken door keihard allerlei meezingers te spelen (de mensen die meezongen waren echter op één hand tellen). Ik heb zowel aan de barman als aan één van de muziekanten gevraagt of het wat zachter kon (op een vriendelijke manier natuurlijk), maar de muziek kon per see niet zachter. Net toen ik in de WC stukjes WC-papier in mijn oren stond te proppen besloten de muziekanten een aangenaam lange pauze te gaan houden waardoor ik mijn plan met het WC-papier kon staken.
Nu hadden we dus eindelijk even tijd om met elkaar te praten, en het eerste dat we even besproken was of we wel langer in de Lanteern wouden blijven. We waren het er min of meer over eens dat zodra de muziekanten weer zouden gaan spelen, wij ervandoor zouden gaan. We hebben nog een tijdje aangenaam kunnen converseren boven een (hetzij duur, en van plastic, en niet erg lekker) glaasje bier totdat dus die band weer begon te spelen. Ze speelden om eerlijk te zijn niet echt slecht, maar het volume was weer veel te hard waardoor we ons direct naar de uitgang bewogen.
Verder verslag van de volgende kroeg (De Pompstee, voor wie het wil weten) zal ik hier niet doen. Het komt erop neer dat Martin nog enorm veel zin had om zich door grootse mensen massa's heen te wurmen tijdens het luisteren naar "Do you love me? Do you love me forever? Do you need me? etc. etc. je kent het wel", maar dat wij het uitgaansleven in Roden eigenlijk wel weer gezien hadden en meer zin hadden om nog even, zoals gewoonlijk want het is leuk, een broodje shoarma te nuttigen.
Shoarma
En zo gezegd zo gedaan, tijdens het broodje hebben we nog even rustig kunnen praten over de meer interessante aspecten van het leven. Hierbij moet je dus denken aan "Wat voor studie doe je nu Martin?", "Werk je nog steeds bij de Vrijbuiter Martin?", "Martin, daarnet zei je dat je misselijk wordt van shoarma maar waarom eet je het nu wel?", "Hoeveel cylinders heeft je auto Martin?", "Hoe ben je in hemelsnaam van plan 'mokkels' te gaan scoren Martin?", en meer van dit soort interessante levensvragen. Ons bezoek aan Hassan de Shoarma Man eindigde nadat Edwin de laatste lik uit het daarna lege potje knoflook saus nam, en wij ons met een tevreden buik naar buiten begaven. Het was nu 2:00 uur.
Het einde
De lezer begrijpt dat het afscheid een moeilijke was. Vooral dankzei het (nogal prijzige) broodje shoarma is het toch nog een redelijk succesvolle avond geworden. Wij vonden het allen jammer dat Georg er niet bij was, en we hopen op betere tijden voor deze ijverige student. Natuurlijk misten we ook de rest van de Gouden Emmer bezoekers.
Nog in Roden konden Laurens, Edwin en ik nog samen fietsen maar al gauw moesten we afscheid nemen van Laurens. Het begon inmiddels wat harder te regenen. De fietstocht terug beviel me toch een stuk beter nu ik samen met Edwin kon fietsen, op de een of andere manier vinden we altijd wel een onderwerp om over te praten. Zo ook nu weer, we hebben een heel interessant gesprek gehad over grasmaaien, grasharken en de nieuwe grasmaaiers waarbij harken niet meer nodig is.
In Zevenhuizen aangekomen moest ik afscheid nemen van Edwin, die vanaf daar nog maar een paar meter heeft te gaan. Op mijn weg naar Een-West begon het nog even lekker te plenzen. Door het natte weer sleepte mijn dynamo langs het wiel met als gevolg dat mijn licht het niet deed. Verder stonden er in Een-West niet zoveel lantarenpalen en was mijn bril zowel nat als beslagen dus ik zag ik geen hand voor ogen. De weinige andere lichtbronnen waren de oog-verblindende koplampen van tegemoetkomende auto's. Natuurlijk ben ik veilig thuis gekomen, aangezien dit verslag hier anders niet had gestaan.
Dan wil ik hierbij mijn verslag besluiten. Hierbij besluit ik dus mijn verslag. Ik besluit dus dit verslag te sluiten...

Gossie, het is eigenlijk niet eens zo lang fietsen vanuit Roden... een verslagje schrijven duurt even lang!
PS: Toen ik dit nieuwe onderwerp wou beginnen kwam een nieuw bugje in DGE naar voren. Gelukkig had ik dit verslag even gekopieerd naar het geheugen. De bug is natuurlijk direct gefixed. |

Leuk verslag Bjorn!
Op tijd
Toch wil ik er wat aan toevoegen:
De heenweg was voor mij hart trappen, want zoals gewoonlijk ging ik te laat van huis weg. Edwin en Laurens hadden er deze keer voor gekozen alvast weg te gaan dus ik moest ze nog harder achterna om ze in te halen.
Edwin en ik kennen Bjorn al langer dan vandaag, en zo ook zijn gevoel voor "op tijd komen". Edwin en ik hadden besloten om 23:30 weg te gaan uit Zevenhuizen, en dan ook precies om 23:30. We hadden Bjorn al van te voren gewaarschuwd (zelfs om 22:48, vlak voor dat ik naar Edwin ging, op MSN, heb ik nog tegen Bjorn gezegd dat hij aanstalten moest gaan maken, want wij zouden niet wachten), dat Edwin en ik PRECIES om 23:30 weg zouden gaan, met of zonder Bjorn, dus dat hij beter wat eerder kon komen. Nou, toen was het 23:28, Edwin en ik hadden net nog even Major Tom geluisterd en besloten weg te gaan. Nadat we onze schoenen en jas hadden aangetrokken, even Edwin's ouders gedag hadden gezegd, gingen we om ongeveer 23:32 weg. Inderdaad zonder Bjorn, die er nog niet was.
Toen Edwin en ik Roden binnen fietsten kwam Bjorn ons supersnel voorbij gefietst en was boos dat wij al eerder weg waren gegaan. Wij vonden dat natuurlijk onterecht, want wij waren niet degene die te laat was. Maar goed, wij racen achter Bjorn aan, maar halen hem niet meer in, we zien hem pas weer bij de fietsenstalling.
* Bjorn, "ik moest ook nog heel DGE doorlezen" is geen geldige reden om te laat te komen.
* Bjorn, als je echt om 23:32 bij Edwin was, zoals je zei, dan had je ons wel eerder ingehaald dan pas helemaal in Roden.
Maar goed, laten we het daar niet meer over hebben.
De Lanteern
Bier was niet te zuipen, en veel te duur inderdaad. Dat stomme bandje gaf ons weer het 'Looks-gevoel': je volkomen schor schreeuwen, zonder dat de persoon naast je je nog kan verstaan.
De Pompstee
Volgens Martin waren hier "de lekkere wijfu, toffe gozers, lekker bier drinku, Vrijbuiter lui", maar volgens ons was dit een verschrikkelijk drukke tent, veel te warm, veel te veel mensen, en vooral kut muziek.
Shoarma
Broodje was lekker, al begon Martin wel te zeuren "dat we een stelletje homo's zijn, de echte toffu gozers gaan bier drinku" etc etc. Nou wij hadden het wel weer gezien, Bjorn's pa was die dag jarig en er zou visite vroeg komen, ik moest dingen voorbereiden en mijn studie een beetje bijhouden, en Edwin wou ook weg. Dus gingen we maar weg.
De Terugweg
Vlak voor dat mijn weg zou scheiden met die van Edwin en Bjorn, heeft Bjorn nog even tegen een boom aan staan zeiken: "Aaah, het druipt helemaal in mijn nek!". En daarmee bedoelde hij regenwater...
Ik had natuurlijk een poncho regenpak bij me, en toen het hard begon te regenen heb ik die aangetrokken. Alleen toen ik hem aan had, was het alweer droog. Ik trok hem dus in Leek weer uit.
Thuis
Net toen ik mijn fiets in de schuur zette, begon het heel hard te plensen... Dat was vast de bui waar Bjorn het over had. Toen ben ik lekker gaan slapen, en om 7:10 opgestaan! Jaja, 's avonds een vent, 's morgens ook een vent! Alleen zak ik vandaag om een uur of 19:00 helemaal in elkaar, maar ja dat zie ik dan wel.

Dank je voor de aanvulling Laurens. Wat betreft het te laat komen, ik wil voorstellen dat jullie voortaan weer wat meer geduld hebben. Of we spreken gewoon af dat ik gezellig meeluister naar Major Tom, dan loop ik daarna geen kans meer jullie te missen.
Om nog even terug te komen op het feit dat ik in m'n onderbroek zat... of toch niet? Nee, toch wel. Door de regen was mijn broek kliedernat en daarom was dat het eerste dat ik heb uitgetrokken, anders zou ik nog wel eens kou kunnen hebben gaan vatten. |

Hee, ik heb een idee: misschien moet er wel een aparte verslag sectie komen op DGE! Dan kan je daar allerlei leuke verhaaltjes vertellen, waar mensen dan op kunnen reageren, op de "nieuws" manier... En een beetje op de K5 manier.

Maarmaarmaar! Op een verslag moet kunnen worden gereageerd, dus uiteindelijk is het weer gewoon precies hetzelfde als we al hebben. Het is dan toch veel makkelijker om in de naam van een nieuwe thread het woordje 'verslag' te impliceren?
Anders komt er ook nog vervelend klikwerk bij kijken om heel DGE te controleren op nieuwe berichjes... |

Daar heeft Sascha een goed punt. Het kunnen reageren op onderdelen van DGE moet niet te ver gaan, er werd ook al gevraagd om de mogelijkheid te reageren op polls. Natuurlijk wil men dan ook steeds weten of er nog nieuwe reacties zijn geplaatst, en dan zou DGE nog wel eens een rommeltje kunnen worden.
Voorlopig zal ik eerst werk proberen te maken van de volgende zaken:
- Links pagina, waar links geplaatst kunnen worden naar pagina's zoals Panacea, RPGDX, Laurens en Edwin keurmerk, Moonlight Productions, NIeuweMobiel en andere pagina's van DGE leden.
- Bugje in grafiekje fixen.
- De pagina's Foto's/Film omwerken tot dynamische varianten. Ik wil eigenlijk een soort uniforme behandeling van allerlei dingen zoals foto's, video's en ook verslagen. Op deze dingen zal men niet kunnen reageren. |

| Nou Chris, nadat die andere 3 "feestbeesten" weer naar huis waren kwam ik gelukkig nog wat bekenden tegen waardoor het toch nog erg gezellig werd. Maar dat komt natuurlijk ook omdat ik wel degelijk een echte Rodenaar ben!! |
