De titel van deze thread lijkt erop te duiden dat dhr. Scylla prof. dr. Fortuyn ergens voor wenst te bedanken. Graag zou ik de reden hiervoor willen vernemen.
Het lijsttrekkersdebat werd niet op een erg constructieve manier bijgewoond door de fractievoorzitters van de PvdA en de VVD, wat ik ervan heb gezien achteraf. Of dat reden tot lachen is, weet ik niet. Het kwam er op neer dat men slecht tegen zijn verlies kon, en dat duidelijk liet merken. Zelf vind ik dat jammer, omdat je op die manier geen kiezers voor je zult winnen. |

Het optreden van Melkert schijnt (Ik heb het helaas niet direct gezien, alleen een paar fragmenten.) vooral erg kinderachtig te zijn geweest.
Ik kan niet ontkennen dat Pim met zijn enorme zelfvertrouwen en met met zijn evenwichtigheid voor het oog als `winnaar' uit het debat kwam. (Voor zover ik het gezien heb.) Degenen die wat verder kijken zien echter dat wat hij zegt net zoals altijd totaal geen inhoud heeft. Dat hij in feite geen partijprogramma heeft doet hij van de hand met `Ik heb genoeg boeken geschreven.'. Daarmee is een domme kijker al snel tevreden gesteld. |

Nou Georg, dat vind ik wel erg kort door de bocht! Pimmetje krijgt mijn stem niet hoor, dat daar maar even geen misverstanden over zijn :)
Ook een persoon die, relatief, weinig nuttigs zegt, kan heel nuttig zijn in zo'n debat. Bovendien wordt zijn 'programma' op pi-dag uitgebracht, als ik me niet vergis. Daar weten we nu weinig details over, dus valt er op dit moment geen kritiek over te leveren. |

Dat is helemaal niet waar! Het idee is dat het niet menselijk is om je rug toe te keren tot mensen die hulp nodig hebben. Maar, zoals overal, zijn ook hier grenzen. Daar wordt al uitgebreid over gesproken. Pimmetje wil slechts een stap verder gaan en zeggen dat er een eind aan moet komen. Zelf kan ik daar prima inkomen, al deel ik zijn mening niet volledig. Maar om het nu over 'taboe's' te gaan hebben, nee! Daarmee wordt de waarheid verdraaid in het voordeel van onze geliefde Pim.

Hoewel jouw standpunt duidelijk is, kan iedereen hier wel zien dat ook jij absoluut niet objectief meer kijkt. Maar dat doet vrijwel niemand hier, daarom ook dit gezeur de hele tijd (wat DGE nog een beetje actief houdt deze vele dagen)
Maar hoewel hier en daar een zinnetje geplaatst is, waardoor je eigenlijk de hele lap tekst niet eens meer aandacht zou willen schenken, zit er toch wel weer waarheid in. |

Ten eerste moet ik zeggen dat ik buitengewoon blij ben met deze opleving van het DGE forum. En dan eindelijk ook nog eens met KvK berichten. Heerlijk.
Ten tweede wil ik me dan ook in de discussie mengen, voorzover ik daartoe in staat ben. Ik zal niet de meest recente informatie hebben, van alles op de hoogte zijn en dus niet de beste argumenten hebben, maar ik doe m'n best.
Ik geef toe dat ik iets tegen Fortuyn heb door zo'n onderbuikgevoel. Dat is zwak. Kijk ik echter televisie, en zie ik om welke reden veel mensen op Leefbaar Rotterdam hebben gestemd, dan is die reden óók onderbuikgevoelens. Goed, misschien is het slechts exemplarisch, en zijn het alleen de 'domme' mensen die ongefundeerd hun mening durven te ventileren. De intelligente mensen die dan op LR hebben gestemd, wil ik graag ook wel eens horen. (ik zal proberen het geheel nu iets nauwkeuriger te volgen op TV, de kans is groot dat ik die mensen gewoon gemist heb, terwijl ze er wel op waren).
Voor het moment houd ik het even hier op, ik ga even op zoek naar wat Pim Fortuyn c.s. nu werkelijk te zeggen hebben. |

Tja, een mooi beginsel zou je het inderdaad kunnen noemen. Ik vraag me echter af of het gaat werken. Wat is namelijk het probleem?
Mensen hebben niet zo'n behoefte om deel uit te maken van de overheid. Ze zijn allang blij als ze een paar mensen kunnen benoemen of verkiezen in bepaalde functies, dan zijn ze er mooi weer vanaf. Natuurlijk staat iedereen wel weer op zijn achterste poten als blijkt dat die overheid gefaald heeft, maar zolang alles goed gaat of als er dingen moeten worden gedaan of opgelost, dan laten we het toch lekker de overheid oplossen?

D'66 profieleert zich al een tijdje niet goed. Alleen op het gebied van de democratie zeggen ze duidelijk waarvoor ze (willen) staan, en voor de rest heb ik ook het idee dat ze maar wat heen en weer zwieberen. Maar ze hebben toch hun eerste gekozen burgemeester gekregen, en dat is toch wel een prestatie.
Niet alle vormen van communisme zijn natuurlijk over een kap te scheren. Ik denk eerlijk gezegd niet dat het communisme meer schade heeft aangericht dan één Hitler. |
